Oh it is Joey and Puff's sixth birthday and I forgot to get them a present! Six years ago this morning (also a Saturday morning, which is surprising) I awoke and heard little meows coming from the second bathroom.
Joey and Puff.
I'd made a nest in the bottom of the bathroom closet and Mama Cat had gone in and started popping out kittens. Puff and Joey were the first, followed by three others who eventually went to new homes.
Mama Cat.
They'll always be my little babies.
