Forrest's 29th birthday had a decidedly Mexican theme. His roommate Paul arranged for friends to meet at BK's, a Sonoran style restaurant. I was surprised at how good the food was.

Afterwards we retired to their estate and a pinata was smashed.
Forrest handles a big stick.
Cecelia had filled it with Mexican candy. I tried the coconut version, which was very good.
Tres leches cake.
One time Forrest and I tried to make a tres leches cake but it turned out nasty. In contrast, the one Cecelia purchased was very good.
Good time was had by all, that's the best kind of birthday party.
