I've been watching Mad Men on Netflix. Were people really that sleazy and unhappy back in the 1960s>
I am sometimes envious of the sets, wishing I had the furniture and wallpaper. In the beginning of the last episode of the second season, Betty is at the doctor's office.

Poor Betty.
The camera pans over to an embroidered picture on the wall. My mother stitched the very same picture and it hangs in her house in the same frame.
